Health Education Learning Outcomes and Performance Indicators

The Maryland State Department of Education provides direction for the development and assessment of K-12 comprehensive health education program through the Health Education Learning Outcomes and Performance Indicators. The D.A.R.E. core curriculum meets a variety of these learning outcomes and performance indicators as highlighted (in bold print) in the following documents. D.A.R.E. student graduates have demonstrated mastery of these specific Health Education Learning Outcomes and Performance Indicators.
