The programs offered through the Institutional Professional Development and Training Unit of the Police and Correctional Training Commissions focuses on providing state-of-the-art training both at the entrance level with the four statewide Correctional Entrance Level Training Programs and annual training thereafter, up to and including in-service training.

Mission
The Police and Correctional Training Commissions provides a comprehensive, integrated learning and organizational development system for employees who protect the citizens of Maryland.

Vision
The Police and Correctional Training Commissions' Institutional Training Unit is committed to providing resources and necessary knowledge to the executive staff and institutional senior leadership that foster leadership, guidance, and instruction for all DPSCS staff.
