AdvancePay® Prepaid Telephone Accounts

To accept calls from an incarcerated individual at this facility, we recommend you create an AdvancePay® prepaid telephone account. Prepaid calling works by placing money on your phone number so that when your incarcerated individual calls you the funds are deducted from the balance on your prepaid account.

Notice

All visitors to a Correctional Facility must clear a metal detector. Please be mindful of clothing that may contain metals as it may result in the inability to clear. In the event that a visitor is unable to clear the metal detector, their visit may be denied.

Contraband ~ Criminal Violations

Pursuant to Maryland's Criminal Law Article, Sections 9-410 and 9-412 through 9-417, it is unlawful for a person to possess, deliver, or possess with intent to deliver contraband in a place of confinement. Such items include but are not limited to telecommunication devices, contraband to effect an escape, weapons of any type, alcoholic beverages, controlled dangerous substances, and tobacco.

It is unlawful for a person to deposit or conceal a telecommunication device in or about a place of confinement with the intent that it be obtained by a person detained or confined.

Violators are subject to arrest and will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Upon conviction, violators are subject to imprisonment from periods of 3 to 10 years, fines of $1,000 to $5,000, or both.


Visiting Hours

General Population Video Visits are conducted between the hours of 6:00pm and 10:00pm by appointment only and for fifteen-minute time blocks. Monday - Housing Unit #3, Tuesday - Housing Unit #2, Wednesday - Housing Unit #1, Thursday - Housing Unit #4 and Housing Unit #5 General Population and Friday - Protective Custody.

Administrative Segregation Video Visits are conducted between the hours of 8:50am and 1:30pm by appointment only on Monday.

In-person visits are conducted on Saturday and Sunday, and will be conducted on one-hour time frames. In-person visits are conducted every other week.

General Population.

Every Other Saturday
General Population from 8:30am - 11:30am (must register by 8:15 am)
General Population from 12pm - 2:30pm (must register by 1:30 pm)

Every Other Sunday
General Population from 8:30am - 11:30am (must register by 8:15 am)
General Population from 12pm - 2:30pm (must register by 1:30 pm)

Specialized Housing

Every Other Saturday
Administrative Segregation Population from 8:30am - 11:30am (must register by 8:15 am)
Disciplinary Segregation Population 12pm - 2:30pm (must register by 1:30 pm)
Housing Unit #4 workers from 8:30am - 11:30am (must register by 8:15 am) and 12pm - 2:30pm (must register by 1:30 pm)

Every Other Sunday
Protective Custody from 8:30am - 11:30am (registration begins 8:15 am)
Protective Custody from 12pm - 2:30pm (must register by 1:30 pm)

A maximum number of four (4) persons will be allowed to visit an inmate at any one time. The visiting group may include up to three [3] children not to exceed the maximum number of four visitors.

Every attempt will be made to hold visits on Holidays, however, every Holiday will be handled on a case by case basis. Please contact the facility prior to arrival to receive an update on the visitation schedule.

In-Person Visits are conducted on Saturday and Sunday, scheduled by appointment only and will be conducted on one-hour time frames. In-person visits are conducted on a three-week rotation week. Housing Unit #3 from 9:00am - 11:30am and Housing Unit #2 from 12pm - 2:30pm every other Saturday and Housing Unit #5 from 9:00am - 11:30am and Housing Unit #1 from 12pm - 2:30pm are conducted every other Sunday from 12:00pm to 2:30pm. It is the Incarcerated Persons responsibility to inform the approved visitor of the scheduled time slot and when to arrive.

In-person Visits for Segregation and Housing Unit #4 workers will be from 9:00am - 11:30am and Protective Custody from 12pm - 2:30pm and are conducted on every other Saturday, opposite the Housing Unit # 3 and #2. It is the Incarcerated individulas responsibility to inform the approved visitor of the scheduled time slot and when to arrive.

All regular visits will be scheduled as a maximum of one (1) hour in length with a defined start and completion time. There must be at least 15 minutes remaining in the assigned visitation period once processing is complete and the incarcerated individuale has arrived in the visitation area for the visit to take place.

Visitor Dress Code

All visitors, to include children, must dress appropriately for visitation.  All clothing must cover from the neck to the kneecaps.

The following types of clothing are not allowed to be worn:

  • Tube tops, tank tops, or halter tops
  • See-through clothing
  • Underwire bras
  • Mini-skirts, mini-dresses, shorts
  • Form-fitting clothes such as leotards, spandex, and leggings
  • Clothes that expose a person's midriff, side, or back
  • Tops or dresses that have revealing necklines and/or excessive splits
  • Coats, jackets, shawls and scarves will be placed in an appropriate area
