DPSCS Launches Notification System Oct. 28
The Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services is pleased to offer a notification to concerned citizens in the event of an escape at one of our facilities. The notifications are available in the following formats: e-mail, text message, and via telephone or cell phone. Please be advised that your standard carrier text message and cellular rates apply.
Notifications occur at the time of the event; day or night. One notice will be sent to each requested format. After the notification, please follow the story on your local news service for additional information.
Periodic System checks may be held between 9:00 am and 3:00 pm.
