Community Escape Alert System

The Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services announces a new notification system for concerned citizens in the event of an escape at one of our correctional facilities. The notifications are available in the following formats: e-mail, text message, and via telephone or cell phone. Please be advised that your standard carrier text message and cellular rates apply.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:

To sign up for notifications in the area where you work or live click one of the eight regions listed below.
Once you pick a region, log in providing a user name and password.
Complete and submit the registration page fields.
If you want to register for multiple regions, please close the browser window and begin again.
If at anytime your contact information changes, please log in to update your account.
In the event an inmate escapes from one of the institutions listed under that region you will be notified in the format(s) you have chosen – one notice is sent to each format requested.
After the notification, please follow the story on your local news service for additional information.

Periodic System checks may be held between 9:00 am and 3:00 pm.
