Officials Launch Website To Identify Parole Violators
State corrections officials have a new tool to track violent offenders who have violated their parole.
The group launched a new website posting the information of the state's 25 most wanted parole and probation violators.
It's an initiative by the Maryland Department of Public Safety and Corrections in partnership with the parole and probation division.
The violators on the list have been identified as individuals who are more prone to commit crime.
Officials reported a 90 percent clearance rate for tracking parole violators and said they hope the new website will help finish the job. /p>
