Around fifty Maryland inmates worked behind the scenes to play a role in Opening Day. They made the metal plaque honoring Ernie Tyler that is now in the Orioles home dug out, and refurbished the players wooden lockers.

Renata Seergae of Maryland Correctional Enterprises says a range of inmates worked on the projects.

Seergae says while the inmates take pride in all of their work, to have their work be a part of Camden Yards, gives them one more reason to be proud.
