Maryland Correctional Training Center announces Employee of the Month for August 2011

TOWSON, MD (Aug. 9, 2011) Jennifer Mumau, Office Secretary II in the Psychology Department, has been named Employee of the Month at the Maryland Correctional Training Center (MCTC) for August 2011.

Mumau has always made the effort to go the extra step and recently made herself available to help the Psychology staff with the tedious task of data collection from the inmate population.

Mumau provides the highest standard of professionalism with staff and inmates, including treating people with courtesy and respect. She always goes above and beyond and has a positive attitude. Mumau often volunteers her time to help out at various inmate and staff events. She is also a valuable member of the Employee Appreciation Committee at MCTC as well as the Maryland Charity Campaign.

Jennifer Mumau has been employed at the Maryland Correctional Training Center since April 2005.

MCTC, located south of Hagerstown on Roxbury Road, is a Division of Correction facility that houses approximately 2,700 male offenders. There are approximately 600 personnel positions at the prison.
