Livescan Fingerprinting Class

If you are interested in taking the MD Department of Public Safety & Correctional Services livescan fingerprinting class please send an email to dlfingerprinttrainingrequest_dpscs@maryland.gov.

The class is limited to Public Safety Employees (Law Enforcement or Corrections) or approved Private Providers.  You will need to submit a background check and additional information prior to being allowed to take the class.

In your email please provide the following information and an instructor will contact you on directions for the background check.  Once you have passed the background check you will be contacted for class registration.

1. Your full name, phone number and email address
2. Name and address of Public Safety Agency or Private Provider
3. Supervisor name, phone number and email address
4. Livescan type:  Cogent / CrossMatch / L-1 Identix
5. Current ORI or Authorization number
