[GLEN BURNIE, MARYLAND] - The lobby of the Division of Parole and Probation (DPP) Glen Burnie Field Office underwent a remarkable transformation this week, emerging as a vibrant food pantry, all thanks to the dedicated volunteers collaborating with the Anne Arundel County Veterans Court.

The Anne Arundel County Veterans Court collaborates closely with DPP clients who have served their country but encountered legal challenges. This partnership exemplifies the synergy between DPP agents and their community allies, working collectively to enhance the quality of lives.

The lobby's remarkable transformation was made possible through the generous efforts of volunteers from Wellpoint, CareFirst, the United Way, and compassionate private citizens who wholeheartedly embraced the opportunity to contribute.

DPP clients, including participants from the Veterans Court program, will now have the means to take home essential food supplies for their families during times of need.

This initiative underscores the Division of Parole and Probation's commitment to fostering positive community engagement and support for individuals working toward rehabilitation and reintegration.
