Small Business Reserve Program

Empowering small businesses, the Small Business Reserve program (SBR) provides an avenue for the small businesses to act as prime contractors on State contracts and procurements. By competing against fellow small businesses rather than larger, more established entities, SBR fosters a level playing field of larger, more established companies.

Minority Business Enterprise Program

The Maryland Department of Transportation's (MDOT) Office of Minority Business Enterprise (OMBE) serves as the official certification agency for multiple programs including Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) Program, the Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Program, the Airport Concessions Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (ACDBE) Program, and Small Business Enterprise (SBE) Program. Certification through MBE opens doors to various opportunities for minority-owned businesses.

Veteran-Owned Small Business Reserve Program

In alignment with the Department's commitment to supporting veterans and small businesses, the Veteran and Small Business Programs ensure equitable opportunities. This program is designed to aid, counsel, assist, and protect the interests of Veteran and Small Business concerns, ensuring a fair distribution of purchases, contracts, and subcontracts.
